Scripture: Hebrew 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of Grace,that we may obtain mercy,and find Grace to help in time of needs.
The word mercy is another word for compassion and it is a key factor in the sovereignty of God. His ways are not without mercy, His judgmenst are full of mercy, He is merciful in nature and His mercies endureth forever.
This morning and being the this last week of the month of May, I want us to explore the power of mercy. As we look forward to a great season ahead of us, it is important that we understand how much mercy means to our advancement, knowing how much advantage you have with the mercy of God.
Our scripture said “come boldly…” Firstly, why boldly? It is important we understand how much the devil has created a guilt in our heart to divert our attention, present us unworthy. The scripture called him the accuser of the brethren. he often reminds us that it is our errors that caused our troubles and misfortunes, he discourages and exploit our ignorance, and then we come before God feeling guilty. We even often conclude just “maybe my past sins won’t allow God to hear my prayers.” We discredit ourselves because of evil whisper of the devil.
This scripture said when you come to God, come boldly… Come! His ever abiding love is bidding us to come but this time come without any guilt, come boldly unto the throne of Grace. and The throne is a key waiting and it is called mercy. With this key you can access everything good in the father. Come mercy will speak for you, come with no shame, mercy is available to open up the door you have been knocking. Mercy is a powerful force that grants you access into the realm of unlimited favor. There are needs in your life only mercy can meet.
This morning call on Him to have mercy on you. I see mercy breaking those strong holds in your life this week. I see mercy qualifying you for that promotion. Today by mercy what your connection, your effort, your skills could not give you, by mercy take it. It’s yours in the name of Jesus.
Declaration
Today, I cry for mercy. O God of mercy show me mercy, show my family mercy. Let mercy speak for us this day. I access mercy for all my needs. My day is blessed.
