Scripture: Matthew 24:13
But he that endure to the end, shall be saved.
In a couple of hours, we will begin the new year, as the as the old is already coming to an end.
The vital question here is what is your investment so far towards the dreams you have for 2022? What are you investing now as we speak in this last days of the year? You must deliberately plan towards your expectations.
Yesterday, we spoke about what to do as you end the year, we briefly deliberated on the need for personal retreat as one of the things that you should do as you end the year. Today, let us look at the second thing you must do.
2. Re-evaluate yourself. There is a need for reevaluation if you must avoid the same mistake you made this year. What changes a man is another new year or a new environment. it is actually a new decision he is ready to live. So don’t expect anything new in a new year untill you are ready to make new changes that will affect your life for good.
People have great expectations as they step into new season, not long after the new year they see themselves, they fall back to everything that make them fail the previous year.
It is not the new year that brings new thing, it is the new you.
Three (3) things you must evaluate about yourself are:
1. Your spiritual growth. You must deliberately put your spiritual life on the scale and check if you have made any significant progress. Your impart in life is tied to how grown you are in your spiritual life. You can never shine more than the light you carry and your result is the strength of the light you presently bare. If you must make significant improvements in 2022, you must increase the level of your light.
Deliberately make up your mind to grow in the things of God this coming year. Your pray life, your sturdy life, and your personal time with God, You must let your light so shine.
2. Second area you must evaluate is your circle. Your circle will determine your miracles. If you don’t break free from bad circle, you may end up in a life of circle.
People who have no genuine impact in your life, break free from them.
3. The last thing you must evaluate is your financial life. This is very important. I will be touching a little more on this tomorrow. You must be careful with what you do with the blessings God is giving you.
