Scripture: Isaiah 49:25
Shall the prey be taking from the mighty, or the lawful captive be delivered?
One question that has form a major part of our daily life is that: Can the lawful captive be delivered?
Even when it looks as if we have an answer to this question, deep down our hearts we still wonder, especially after we have done all therefore and the issues persist, after we have fasted, we have prayed, we obey all spiritual instructions given to us and we’re still trap in that circumstances, after we have done everything and nothing seems to be getting better, we are still fighting financial battles, still battling with sicknesses and diseases. At this point, we are forced to ask can the lawful captive truly be delivered? Especially when the devil try to convince you that the troubles in your life are self inflicted.
This has made you draw a conclusion just maybe I am suffering for all the sins of my past, but let’s look at the next verse 26: It says: “Thus said the Lord, the prayer of the mighty shall be taken.” At a Time in your life, there are questions you just can’t answer, you go back to God who knows the root of the pain. He knows exactly how you got here and He also know how to pull you out. Ezekiel 37 – God asked Ezekiel can these bones live? Ezekiel answered, oh Lord only thou knowest. There are situations, overwhelming situations, we truly don’t have answers to. At that point, it is only God who truly know. He knows how you got in, He knows how to get you out. At that point, how do I got God involved? This is where the power of mercy shows up. For deliverance, mercy must be activated. Look out for the part 2.
I see you breaking free from that chain. This captivity is coming to an end.
