Scripture: Nehemiah 8:10
For the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Joy is not just a feeling, It is a weapon. It is not just emotion but a force for motion.
Joy displayed can be more forceful than you could ever imagine. Joy is the quickening you need when everything is against you, when you feel beating, weak, powerless, and most times lonely, what you need more than any other thing is the fruit of the spirit called JOY.
It restores your strength, make you feel the crowed right there with you cheering you. It restores inner power.
Joy is strength.
Three things you should look out for when you are joyful are:
Firstly, it changes your mood. Secondly, it lights up the atmosphere. And thirdly, it makes you attractive.
Joy brings your hidden beauty and that automatically strengthens your resolve. It stirs up your confidence and put you out for good. Joy is strength. It gives you the will to act, the passion to pursue and the confidence to take back. Joy is what you need when you feel betrayed, when you feel abandoned. It is what you need when you are broke and when you are rich. It just causes a stir. When you have joy, It is not just you, it is contagious. Joy is strength. Not just for you but extends to anyone that come across you.
Our scripture said “The joy of the Lord is my strength.” This joy in me by the Holy Ghost is all I need to bounce back from that defeat and that failure. It is all I need to get myself back on track. This joy in me is all I need to confront the enemies of my destiny.
Beloved, rejoice today, don’t let their character change who you are. Don’t let their actions change your mood and don’t let the disappointments makes you feel it is over. Cheer up and rejoice. There is more in you than you can ever imagine. Your defeat is only an opportunity to reveal your inner feelings. You have a choice to make it sad or joyful. I admonish you, choose Joy. Rejoice and be firm as you progress in destiny.
Today, I encourage you, get up from that ashes, get up from that defeat, get up from that disappointment. Rejoice you are the joy your environment, your world is waiting for. Light up your world with your smiles. Let them know Christ in you is the hope of your glory. Rejoice this day, it’s a new season.
Declaration
Today, I declare, I choose to light up my world with this joy in me. I regain confidence as I rejoice, I step into my destiny as I rejoice, the joy of the Lord is my strength. My day is blessed.
