Scripture: Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the lord saying who shall I send, and who wil go for us? Then said I; here am I; send me.
The voice of God is louder than ever before, calling, seaking and desiring an answer. The voice of God is daily calling out believers to answer the call of destiny, to answer to the call of purpose, but while this voice calls many have become too distracted to hear or even hearken to Hid voice. We have become too self driven and we often become too far gone to hear God’s call. We have become too self serving that it has become all about us and our desires. No more focus or interest in the greater call.
This morning, I want to quickly bring to your remembrance that there is a voice calling, there is a God seeking your attention, there is a destiny to fulfill and there’s a call to answer.
“I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Who shall I send and who will go for us?
Firstly, he heard. You will understand that It takes hearing to respond to a call. The problem with this generation is not response but they choose not to hear and listen. To hear is not just to hear what was said to you on the altar. Hearing come with comprehension. (Hearing and understanding.)
Isaiah heard and understood what is needed. So, responding wasn’t too much of a problem for him.
Beloved, that same voice is calling you this morning. It is time to answer like Isaiah and say “Lord, here am I, send me.” It is time to allow him take the wheel of your destiny, it is time to put self on hold and say “Lord, glorify your name in my life.” It’s time to answer to this great call because the more you delay, the more your purpose eludes you. It is time to bring glory to His name with your daily living. It is time to live out the purpose of your creation. This call is becoming louder, you better have to pay attention.
Pray this simple prayer this morning…
Lord take the wheel, I can no longer lead myself, take the wheel. I officially say yes Lord to your will, be my God and my guide. Anywhere you lead me, I will follow.
Pray this prayer, and see God step into your struggles. See him end the many years of battles. How he will, you might not know but surely it will turn around for your good.
