Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 1:5
For our Gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as he know what manner of men we where among you for your sake.
What differentiates you is not status nor position, it is a force beyond human comprehension. Sometimes, the true state of a man is not in the command of words or the great possessions at his disposal but an inherent power that quiver both human and spirits. Power is the biggest difference that can ever be.
Same age, graduated same time, got same job, receive same salary, but one has more in everything than the other. Sometimes, it is not what eventually comes your way, but the power to keep and grow as they come.
Someone ran to me sometime ago and told me how he make so much money but yet he practically live in debt. I asked him to explain to me what he does with his money, he said no matter how much he makes in a month, some how the money is exhausted before the middle of the month and to survive the remaining days of the month, he stick to borrowing and this has become a pattern.
Every month he suffers the same faith, as he was still speaking the Lord opened my eyes; I saw a big tank of water with a big pipe connected to it, pouring water into the tank. Immediately, I felt this is a great sight. While I was exited with the sight of a tank and the big pipe, the Lord asked me to look again. This time I saw a bigger pipe connected from the other side of the tank and the water was pouring out from this other side of the tank. The Lord said to me this is his problem.
Beloved, there is something that gives you an edge over the cares of this world, there is something that make you far beyond the reach of enemies, there is something that makes you invisible to wickedness. That thing is POWER. It makes the difference. The scripture said; “the Gospel we preach is not just in word, but also in power, That you may know what manner of men we are among you. We might have the same job, earn the same pay, but there something call power. Power distinguishes, it makes an obvious difference. You show up where others are rejected and you are giving a standing ovation. What stop others is the same thing that aids you. Daniel was preferred among other princes. They were all princes but he was preferred.
Today the power of difference comes upon you. As you go about your day, your appearance shall be greeted with favor and standing ovations. Whatever you dare to achieve today shall come easy to you and for you. Receive that power that distinguishes.
Declaration
Today, I am distinguished by the power that is at work in me. Anywhere I show up, I shall be preferred. I command an unusual acceptance anywhere I go. My day is blessed.
