Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:17
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain, and ye are yet in your sins.
Today we look at another benefit of the resurrection. His resurrection gave our faith strength. Our faith is not in vain.
Christianity is not a religion but a way of life, standard for living. We profess Christ not just in words but also in character. What gives our profession credibility is His resurrection. If Christ had died and remain dead, the profession of our faith would have been without evidence.
Resurrection is the hope and flavor in the Christian race. We boldly say he died and as he said he resurrected on the third day, defeated dead, disgrace the grave and gave the enemy and open disgrace. What a hope and strength we have by His resurrection. No other god or prophets has ever achieved this feet. The few that tried, died again but our savior resurrected and ascended to heaven. If Christ be not raised, your faith is in vain. Your faith is your access to all your desired result. Your faith is your weapon for victory, your faith is the only hope of your recovery.
Just imagine your faith is in vain. What then is your hope? Thank God for resurrection. If not, I would have been lost forever. If not my access to heaven is forever blocked. Thank God for resurrection. If not, I would have been drown in the valley of sin and defeat.
The scripture said then yeh are yet in sin. If not for resurrection, the blood would not have been effective enough to wash us clean. This means that we would have still be in sin till today. Sin does not only come as an offense, it also carry its consequence. Thank God for resurrection! Today, I can boldly say I am saved, I can boldly say my faith is not in vain. Beloved, rejoice because your faith is not in vain. You are saved forever and I see your faith producing for your today.
Declaration
I declare, today my faith is not in vain. By an active faith I see a turn around in my life and destiny. By the resurrection power, I am free from the valley of sin. I am walking in miracles, my day is blessed.
