Overflow Joy

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 8:2 (NIV)
In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy, and their extreme poverty, welled up in rich generosity.

Welcome to our week over overflowing joy. This week, beyond your pains, troubles and trials, your joy shall overflow.

Joy is not a function of event but a direct proof of encounter. Joy is the evidence of an encounter, a direct reflection of the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. – The Bible said in Galatians 5:  It is the fruit of the spirit. – In Nehemiah 8:10 it said “You derive strength when you rejoice.” Joy is not happiness, we are not joyful because of what we have or what we are promised.

This is what happiness is all about; happiness like the name sounds is derived from happenings. While joy is derived from the satisfaction you have knowing God. Knowing who God is, your faith in Him. The confidence you have is that He will never fail. The hope you have is that with Him all things are possible. Just stir up the overwhelming joy. This kind of joy is deep within. This is why people just can’t understand why you are still so cheerful in the face of rejection.

The world expect a certain reaction, when we go through certain issues but to their amazement, you are even more cheerful than people who seems to have it all.

Beloved, joy is the fruit of the spirit. When you rejoice, it is not a response to event but confidence displayed because of the future you see in God. Nothing hasting your answer like living a joyful life. Anytime you rejoice, it is a display of both God’s character and total confidence in His promise. Joy is living the promise even while you look like something far from it. It is a display of faith, the secret of great men. They understand you behave what you believe and you just can’t be sad and expect the manifestations of your prophecy. Joy is the route to quick response.

This week, you will be overwhelmed with joy. The scripture we read said; “I’m the midst of a severe trial, the overflowing joy…” How can you be going through severe trial and still have overflowing joy?

This week, God is giving you joy untold. In the midst of that pain, trial and trouble. This week, you shall rejoice. This joy will bring you to your celebration. No devil can stop you. Today, I say rejoice. Again, I say rejoice. Choose joy over sadness. Your biggest trouble is about to respond to joy and you will see the manifestation of God’s greatness in your life and family. Rejoice it is your season.

Declaration

Today I choose joy over sadness and over feelings of defeat. Over negativity and over fear. I am overwhelmed with joy. This season, I have overflowing joy. It is my time to rejoice, my day is blessed.

Divine Direction

Scripture: Psalm 23:1
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

It’s always exiting to begin a new week with a word from the Lord. I am glad to announce to you this morning that there is a word from God for you this week.

It’s your week of Divine Direction. This week as you step out, your steps will be divinely ordered. The scripture said the steps of a good man is order by the Lord… Psalms 37:23. Your steps this weeks will not just be by choice, but will be by divine leading. The path of the just is a shinning light, it shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. This week every step you take shall command positive attention, and until you win, nothing will stop you. God in His mercies shall lead you this week by Himself into your desired result.

Imagine the only thing stopping that glorious vision of yours, those lofty ideas, that you can practically perceive a great future, you have a clue of where you want to be. You wake up every morning with your head full of possibilities. But the only thing stopping you is “how”. You have done all therefore, but the answer to the “How” has become your daily pain. I have a good news for you.

What the control tower is to a pilot, is what divine direction is to a believer.

Divine direction is the road map to your perceived future.
Divine direction is the sure route to your destination.
Divine direction is the guarantee end to your dreams.

If the pilot looses touch with the control tower, it can lead to tragedy. Many dreams and great destinies are aborted because they broke communication with the source of information they needed on their journey. When you loose touch with the source, that is when you try to improvise and many times we end up been disappointed, abused, used, and more often arrival becomes impossible.

The answer to your confusion is divine direction. The scripture we read said, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. The NIV translation puts it better: The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. The guaranteed way to live above lack is when you are constantly under divine direction. You will sure to lack nothing.

This is where I prophesy; By divine direction, this week you will not meet who you should miss and you will not miss who you should meet. This week by divine direction, you will not make, decisions that will drag you back in destiny. By divine direction, that specific instruction you need to tackle that situation, receive it now. This week every channel that God’s voice is transported, let it be open up to you. I pray for attentive ear, may God’s voice be loud to your ear this week. Receive the humility to obey his voice this week. In the name of Jesus you will not miss divine opportunities. May grace your wings on which you fly this week. No stopping you this week, your day is blessed. Your week is blessed.

Declaration

Today, I receive kingdom instructions for directions this week. My ears are attentive to divine directions this week. I receive instructions to tackle repeated issues in my life and destiny. I will not miss my path this week, My day is blessed

God, My Strength PT 2

Scripture: Judges 6:15-16 (NIV)
“Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” The LORD answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”

The guarantee for victory is not how prepared or how powerful you are but who goes into the battle with you. Your sure victory is when God is your strength. Your sure victory is when God goes with you.

Gideon tried to down play his inability to stand against his enemies, he was trying to explain his situation, I don’t have the qualifications for this task, I am not equipped for it, the enemies before me are too powerful, I can’t match them. I came from a very poor background, my family are not known for this, we are weak, we are poor, we are described as the least of them, this and that…

Many of us often complain about our state like this: I am not ready, I don’t have what it takes, I don’t have the connection, I don’t have the money. While he was busy complaining, God answered him and said:

I will go with you, we don’t need your qualifications for this. We don’t need your experience for this, all you need to win this is me. I will go with you, and you will strike down all midianites and none shall escape.

I am glad to tell someone this morning, GOD is with you. You are not alone in that battle. God is with you, you are not alone on that trouble. You are facing that storm not as one man but as GOD chosen vessel. You will come out victorious and you will win. Let me repeat it, In all the battles before you, you will win. God is your strength. He will guide you to all victory. It’s your season of testimonies. Congratulations.

Declaration

I am not alone, God is with me. I confront all life situations with God as my strength. Today, I claim victory over repeated battles. God is with me. My day is blessed!

God, My Strength

Scripture: Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

I want to quickly welcome you to new week. Every week comes with its promises and hope. What you need is a word to activate those promises and I pray for you this week all you need to enjoy rest on every side receive it now.

This week our focus is “God your strength.”

The word strength is the capacity or substance to withstand a great force or pressure.

The purpose of strength is to give you advantage over the pressures of life and put you ahead of your enemies. Our scripture reading said, “I can do all things, through Christ which strengthens me.” – Take note, the bible said “All things”, not some things. What gives you an advantage over all things is the strength that is available in you. I can do all things… The availability of strength give you an advantage over anything that confronts you. We live in a world where we are daily confronted with overwhelming issues daily. Many have reached their breaking limit while Some are just hanging by the tread. Some are overwhelmed with the battles they had to fight everyday.

Today, as you begin a new week, if strength is an advantage over the troubles of life, receive that strength to win over whatever that confronts you. I pray for unusual strength of God as you begin a new week. I can do all things… By the strength of Christ, any altar what confronts you this week, you will win and come out victorious. Receive the strength of God, go and win, go and conquer, go and succeed, go and overcome. It is a new season, your strength is renewed. Happy new week.

Declaration

Today, I plugged into God’s strength as I go about each day of this week. Whatever confronts me this week, I will win. I receive strength to overcome. I will testify this week. God is my strength. My day is blessed.

Breaking Forward

Scripture: Psalm 107:14
He brought them out of darkness, and the shadow of death. And break their bands in sunder.

The pain of been in chains can not be overemphasized. Life often put men in chains, living life round a circle. Rise today, fall tomorrow. Forward today and backward tomorrow. Nothing seems to be steady at all. Anytime you think finally something good is about to happen, you find yourself go back to square one all over again.

You have prayed, fasted, done all therefore, your life and family seems to be trapped in a repeated failure, satanic circles, bounded with heavy chains of life. It seems there is no way out. I don’t know if any of this reality is your struggle but I came to you this morning, by the authority of God’s Word; There is a supper force that breaks men out… Today, that force is breaking you out of that cage, that circle, that repeated battles and that unending shame.

The scripture said, “he brought them out of darkness…” I don’t know the nature of darkness that have limited you over the years, by the power of God you are coming out. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death… Any evil shadow hovering round your destiny, today you are breaking out. He also break their band in sunder. Today, He is not just breaking you out of that chains, your are breaking forward. From that shackle, you are breaking forward. From that rejection, you are breaking forward. From that chain, you are breaking forward. It is your season of advancement. Whatever you need to enter your celebration receive it this morning.

Declaration

In the name of Jesus, I break out of every evil chain holding me down. I break forward from every strong hold in my life. My day is blessed.

Exposing Evil Attachments

Scripture: Mark 3:11

And unclean spirit, when they saw him, they fell down before him, and cried saying, you are the son of God.

I want to first remind you that this week, is still a week with new expectations and my prayers for you is that your expectations shall not be cut short and you will see the manifestation of your expectations.

It is a week of warfare, with a focus on satanic and evil attachments.

When we speak of evil attachments, theses are powers that have programmed themselves into people life with an intention to manipulate, disrupt any good thing coming their way. These powers programmed themselves to react whenever you are close to testimonies. Certain misfortune are not just products of bad-luck, they are predetermined and orchestrated.

That is why most times, you think you got it under control and from nowhere, a turn you can’t explains just happen and that becomes the end of that good thing you were expecting. Helpers have walked out of your life, all because of this satanic attachments. But as you walk through this week, the first focus we have is to pray the prayers of exposure. Many lives with these powers but unknown to them. This power programs itself into its victims, they live in your space, goes where you go, have access to what you have access to. Sometimes you wonder how they know you just started another relationship? Who told them I have a contract coming? How did they know am working on my documents? Information you thought are only known to you, are also known to these powers.

Beloved, they are called attachments because they programmed themselves into their victims. This means they can be there and you won’t know it. They can cause major setback on your focus and your focus will be on something else. The first step to deliverance is discovery.

This morning God in His power will expose every powers attached to you to cause you pain. Powers programmed to redirect your helpers, powers under strict instructions to keep you in a spot in destiny, today they shall be exposed. In any form or shape they have taken refuge in your life, your family, your business, they shall be exposed. Your eyes shall be open to the cause of that repeated failures, those unending misfortune the Lord is putting an end to them from the root.

Today, you are stepping into a new season of your life. Divine opening is happening all round you this week. Congratulations victory awaits you this week.

Declaration

In the name of Jesus, evil attachments programmed to frustrate me, to cause me pain and shame this week, be exposed today. In any form or shape you disguised, be exposed today. My day is blessed.

Defeating Delays

For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolong:

The fight against delay is real. We often battle with delays, we believe the word, we agree with the declarations but when will this finally manifest? When is the day of my victory? When will I finally testify? I have been on this mountain, waiting and trusting when will my salvation come?

This is what we often deal with. But the question of “when” seems to be without answers. Everyday we practically hear the prophecies often being repeated. While we are still waiting for the previous once, behold another cometh. When will I see my answers? So we often battle with the spirit of delays most times and in almost every areas of our lives.

Today, I don’t know the amount of delays confronting you and your destiny, I don’t know how long you have had to believe and wait, I don’t know to what extent you have been mocked and humiliated due to delays. You are almost frustrated, lost hope, your response often interprets how you feel about you burden, but this morning, I bring a word for you. You will defeat delays in your life and destiny. Repeated delays that have almost cost you your faith, today, you are defeating the monster called delay. It was a repeated embarrassment as the children of Israel faced repeated mockery over delays,. The scripture we read began by saying, there was a proverb in the street of Israel, many had turn the predicament into an all out mockery, they made a parable out of their pains, until one day the LORD stepped into the land and said: what is this parable I hear in the street of Jerusalem, that my words are delayed? He then made a pronouncement that from today, I will speak and it shall come to pass, it will not be prolonged (delay).

Today, this is God’s word for you. Delays are defeated. I see heaven breathing upon your hanging prophecies, it is coming to pass. Your business requires haste and God is hastening your testimony. Delays are broken. You will enter into your testimony earlier than anticipated. Men who had ignored you as a result of this evil spirit, they are turning to you. It is a new season for you.

Declaration

Today, I declare an end to delay in my life and family. The yoke of delay is broken. The evil proverbs of delay hanging over me is broken. It is a new season for me. My day is blessed.

Turned My Mourning Into Dancing

Thou has turned for me my mourning into dancing. Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.

This is my prayer for someone this morning, as you glance through this morning devotion, whatever has caused you tears, pain, persistent troubles, today the mighty Hand of God will turn your mourning into dancing.

Life is full of unpredictable moments. Moments where ones robust life suddenly takes a nose dive or after all your efforts, it’s still same story as always. You look forward to be duly rewarded for your efforts, but instead, same people turn against you.

Someone was sharing his story with me few days ago and bursted into tears. What was his story? He had brought his friend who had complained of hardship into his business, hoping together they can both do something great. He brought him in to help and also to have two heads in a lofty dream of his. Little did he knew that he had open the door for his own down fall. Not too long the friend who he trusted had empty the company account and travel with his family, leaving him with no money to execute projects he has previously taken. This led to different police cases until he was reduced to nothing. He cried sharing his story. The point here is that so much is happening out there. People are heart broken, betrayed, abused, people have lost trust because of repeated disappointments they face. Out there are stories that are unthinkable but yet, the many troubles of a man does not define him. The repeated fall is not a conclusion of failure. The fact that the world has turned its back on you, is not a conclusion of your destiny.

This morning inrespective of what you are going through, God gave me a word for you, He will turn your mourning into celebration. He will put off thy sackcloth and gird thee with gladness. It is a new season for you. You will laugh last. Get ready for a total turn around in Jesus name.

Declaration

I declare a total change in my life and family. Our mourning is turning into a celebration. My joy is full. My day is blessed.

Mighty Hand of God, Divine Help

Scripture: Isaiah 41:10
Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand.

The greatest victory we have in Christ is the confidence we have that he is our present help. He is with us always but much more that, his mighty hand is able to help you at all times.

Sometime ago a man met me and asked me a question that provoked a spiritual response. His question was, can God help someone like me? That question was pregnant, but before he narrated his problem, I was provoked in my spirit because I know that we have a God who is our present help. I am confident, He is our help in times of troubles. And so I was provoked and I replied him, God will not just help you through this but he is your help at all times.

Beloved, most times when we are overwhelmed with the troubles of life, expecially after you have have tried as much as you can, we wonder why we can’t find help. Everywhere you turn, you are often turned down, your life is devoid of any form of favor, your mere presence irritates some people. You wonder why your case is different, but today I came to introduce the mightiness of the hand of God.

The scripture we read said “I will help you…” I don’t know what you are struggling with this morning, I have a good news for you, help is coming. I have a word from the Lord for you, He said, “I will help you.” No matter how bad it looks, help is here! Help in that same situation everyone has given up on, help in that same place you where once turned down, help in that trouble with your children. I see the mighty hand of God making a major difference in your life, in your career, in your family. That hand that brings help is here. Weep no more, help has come. Whatever seems impossible for you today, you will experience God’s hand. Your time has come.

Declaration

I declare today, the hand of God is bringing help to me and my family. To every overwhelming situation today, my help has come. My day is blessed.

The Mighty Hand of God, Shatters The Enemies

Scripture:
Exodus 15:6, your right hand, o Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, o Lord, shatters the enemy.

Today as we continue in our discussion on the greatness of the hand of God, I will like you to begin to imagine the visibility of that hand in your life, your marriage, your family. Just imagine that hand resting on your business, imagine that hand lifting you up above your troubles. While you are on that, I want to prophesy as I am commanded: This morning, as you step out of your house, the hand of God will compel great men to favor you. Beyond your imagination, you shall be lifted.

Today, I want to quickly bring you another dimension of this hand that has paved way and subdued kingdoms. The hand of God according to the scripture we just read is glorious in power and this same hand shatters the enemies.

Beloved, the joy of serving God is the confidence that no matter what stands in our way, he is able to take us through. No matter what confronts us, his hand is able to pull off every obstacle. The scripture said “he shatters the enemy…” That is a strong word! To shatter means without trace. This is where I want to remind you this morning, that no matter what stands in your way, the mighty hand of God is able to shatter them. No matter the hold they have against you, the mighty hand of God is able to rescue you. No matter how long they have messed you and your destiny up, the mighty hand of God is able to end their reign in your life and family. The hand of our God is glorious in power. It can shatter our enemies.

As you step out this morning, carry that consciousness that they will go down before you. Powers that undermine your life and destiny, today, by the mighty hand of the father I see them submitting to you. The raging storm that is threatening to swallow you, by the mighty hand of God, peace return to that storm.

Today, the glorious power in the hand of the Lord is opening every closed doors. Your enemies are right now at thy feet. Rise beloved, you have overcome. The hand that carrys you is powerful. It can never drop you and no power can bring down. Go and enter into your testimony. Congratulations the Lord honor you.

Declaration

Today, I declare by the mighty hand of God, every mountain confronting my progress go down before me. Today, I breakthrough the obstacles of my destiny. I am moving forward. My day is blessed.
