Scripture: Judges 20:18
And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and ask counsel of God, and said, which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the Lord said, Judah shall go first.
The second half this year has begun fully, and a lot of persons are bent on seeing all of their desires for this year come to pass. It is the second half; there will certainly never be another half after this. We all have this opportunity to see to the manifestations of those dreams and aspirations we started the year with. We certainly do not wish to carry anything over to the next year. As we began fully the second half with great anticipation, with different plans already put in place to possibly see a better second half than the first, with us hoping to confront this second half squarely, our confusion might be where do I start from.
Beloved, I have a solution to that your confusion. Let Judah go first.
They seek counsel from the Lord and asked who should go first to this battle and the Lord answer them let Judah go first. Judah is another word for praise. This means, let praise go first. You might have all it takes to confront whatever comes your way, you might be powerfully armed to face those battles that will rise up as this year progresses, you might have the capital to start that business, you might even have all it takes, but the Lord said, “Let Judah Go first!” Let praise go ahead of all you intend to do for the remaining six months in the year 2021. Send praise ahead and watch your enemies fight themselves. Send praise ahead and watch your helpers scramble to help you. Send praise ahead and watch your doctor’s report change for the good.
Praise is a weapon, let it be the first sword you must draw as you advance in this remaining 6 months of this year, and you will see the wonders of God in the land of the living. Congratulations. Let praise go first.
