Scripture: Genesis 1:26
And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,and over all the earth, and over every creeping things that creepeth on the earth.
We began this month reiterating our dominion mandate. We have heard again and again that we have been created for dominion. And we also know that dominion is sovereignty and control, but so many persons are still living in the confusion of what actually they have control over. To what extent is their control? What territory do my dominion stretched to? This question has placed limit in so many people’s daring power, especially when they are faced with questions of ownership. Many have concluded that it’s the devil territory and they have scripture to back up their claim and misunderstanding the whole concept of that scripture.This has put many families, destinies, lives under the control of the devil. They have over time, lost control to the enemy.
Beloved, let’s look at the concept of dominion closely. The scripture made it clear that God said let us make man in our image after our likeness, let them have dominion. God created you with the intention to give you sovereign power to rule and to control. This is very cleared from the beginning you have been giving control. Many will argue that we lost it to the enemy. When man fell he lost his dominion that act gave devil the control man once have. While many keep up with this argument, remind them of the scripture “For that the purpose Christ came to restore the power of control to as many that believe, John 1:12.” He went further to say “all power on earth, in heaven, under the earth has been giving unto me. And he gave that power to as many that believe. Matt 28: 18-20.” Beloved, this is including the power of control. In Christ we are back in control. In Christ that sovereignty has been restored. You are back to the place of dominion. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise, you have that power all over again, refuse that demonic control in your family, your marriage, business. Take back the wheel. I see you finishing strong this month.
Tomorrow I will tell you to what extent your territory is. You have dominion far more than you imagine.
Declaration
Today, I declare I recover back my territory that has been under demonic control. In Christ I have my dominion restored. I refuse to bow to any power from today forward, this month I will finish well. My day is blessed.
