Scripture: 2 kings 7:6
For the Lord has made the host of Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, and even the noise of a great host. And they said one to another, lo, the king of Israel had hired against us the kings of the hittites, and the king of Egyptians, to come upon us.
Tomorrow we are going to be on a series tiles: THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
But for today, let us see Divine Intervention
There is something call divine intervention. Sometimes it comes in a way least expected. But certainly, it’s a supernatural involvement in a human affair. It is God’s interference in human situation. It is the supernatural stepping into the natural, with a purpose of bringing help in a present situation. Scripture said “…He is our present help. Psalm 46:1.
When we call, He is ever available to respond to our call.
There was hunger in Israel, to a point women began to kill their children for food. And the king, in rage of what hunger and starvation was doing to his people, sent for the prophet. And the prophet declared “by this time tomorrow food will be surplus.” The chief economy adviser who I am sure have knowledge of the economic situation said to the prophet, even if the widows of heaven is opened this prophecy of “surplus of food” can not happen. And Elisha the prophet told him, “you will see it but you won’t partake of it.” So it was the next day, there was four leprous men outside the city decided not to die in waiting outside the city. They made up their mind to summit their life to the armies coming up against Israel.
Let’s pause a while…
Why was it that all of a sudden the leprous men made up their mind, when just yesterday, the prophet had prophesied? Beloved, our greatest challenge is when the Word comes forth we begin to analyze as humans. How shall these things be? How possible will this happen? Listen, God has a system in place that when He speaks, the Word goes forth and begin to look for a situation in the natural world that will be a perfect connection to that his declaration. In this case, it was the four lepers, God troubled them to suddenly begin to decide where they want to be. Made them conclude to go summit themselves to the enemies. All of these was because a Word has been spoken and the supernatural is about to step into the natural. When God makes a promise, leave the “how” to him. He will program a situation that will bring about the fulfillment of that prophesy. The “how” is always His to work out. The faith should be your, knowing there is nothing impossible for him to do.
He magnified the sound from their feet. That the enemies of Israel heard the noises of the chariot and horses. This was God’s intervention dealing with the situation of hunger in the land and chasing away the enemies of Israel all in one straw. What a God we serve? The scripture said “they ran and abandoned all that they had” and that became the food, to fulfill the Word from the mouth of God servant.
Today, i stand to prophesy… Where ever you are, i decree heavenly intervention in that your struggle. The physical connection that the supernatural needs to breath on to bring about this prophecy, I see them on the move already, for your good. You will experience an unusual miracle. It’s your season.
Declaration
I declare, today God is stepping into my life to put an end to all my longtime struggle. Today I see the Hand of God intervening in my situation. it’s turning for my good. My day is blessed.
