This week, I want to focus on the power of the seeing eyes. The spirit of discernment. As the Lord help us this week, every form of spiritual blindness will be dealt with. Today our focus is on discernment. Firstly,
What is discernment?
Discernment is the ability to judge correctly. The ability to differentiate feelings from facts, realities from emotions. One of the supposed common ability a believer should possess is the spirit of discernment, yet that is one area the devil have targeted in the lives of many.
We live in a world dominated by evil. We are daily confronted by unfortunate events, we transact with all kinds of humans daily and most times we are not able to truly know the intents in the heart of the people we deal with until we become victims. We go places daily even when we don’t know the best decision to take that will bring the expected testimony. We live, work and relate with so much confusion deep down our hearts. We often fall into wrong hands, invest in wrong businesses, deal with the wrong people, find ourselves in wrong places, loose money, get beaten and end up in frustration.
I don’t know if you are into one of the situations mentioned, but the Lord will have me pray for you this morning that the spirit of discernment be activated in your life. From today, every darkness that have beclouded your judgment is lifted. You wil make the right decisions this week, you will discern the right people this week. That ability to distinguish between a helper and a deceiver, receive it now. You will not fall victim to men’s beguiled tongue. From miles away, you will sense the intent of their heart. This week, favor will speak for you. I declare ease for you this week. What others struggle to get, will come to you without struggle. Your doors are opened unto you this day. It’s your week of celebration.
