Scripture: Colossians 4:6
“Let your speech be always with Grace, season with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”
Power can turn your mare words to creative and effective words. While people are working hard to speak fluently, power turns your words into creative words.
A woman met me some time ago in one of my counseling sessions, she spoke with so much pain about how her children have turned from reasoning. They talk back at her, disobey her and they do what they seem good in their eyes. She cried, “no matter what I say to them they never listen.”
I immediately interrupted her and remind her that it takes power to answer to issues of life and her case was the devil trying to turn the heart of her children. I prayed with her and asked her to call for meeting with her children and speak to them, but this time that her words will be seasoned with grace. I told her power will proceed from her words and the words from her mouth will minister peace into their hearts.
Beloved, power brings flavor to your life and divine energy to your humanity. It turns you into another person. It echoes your efforts.
Words are tools of communication. You either communicate life or death, hope or defeat, joy or sadness etc. What you communicate most times is beyond skills. What backs your word determines what it produces.
God created the world with words, He called everything to existence. Today what we enjoy are fruits of the lips. His word created our world.
Our text said, “let your speech always be with grace and seasoned with salt.” Your words can do more than you can imagine. Seek grace at all times in your speech when talking to your clients, boss and children. The scripture ended by saying that, “.. you may know how you ought to answer every man.” This reminds you every situation is different and your response can either prolong it or end it. Power helps generate not just the right word but the needed word. Power takes you beyond being fluent into being creative.
Today your words will no longer be mere words. Your words will be creative. Your speech is seasoned with grace and power. Your words will not be overlooked. You will know what to say at every situation. You will not miss words, power will back up your word and your results shall be obvious for all to see.

I declare my words are seasoned with Grace and power. My words are backed up with power. I know what to say in response to all life situations. My words shall not be ignored! My day is blessed.
