Scripture: Philippians 3:10-11
10. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering, been made conformable unto his death
11. If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
This month, as we continue our focus on the resurrection power, my focus is beyond the experience of this power. Only this week, I have received several testimonies of the workings of this power in lives and families. Amazing testimonies, mind blowing. While I’m so thankful to God for His wonders and the activation of the resurrection power in people’s lives, it is also important you know that my greatest desire is not just for a one time experience of this power, but that this power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you permanently, that you become a resident for this power, that this power quickens not just that which is dead, but that it also sustains the life, that noting will ever die in your life.
Paul has had this resurrection experience several times, both in his personal life and also in his ministry. But in this scripture, Paul had a goal that was much more than just the experience. He said, “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection.” Paul desired to know Him. But this time, it was for a bigger purpose, he seek to know Him and also the power behind His resurrection, knowing God is the secret of experiencing the power. (we wil speak more on that tomorrow). Paul asked to know the power of His resurrection. His goal for that desire was clear in verse 11: “if by any means I might attain.“ He didn’t just seek to experience it but also to possess it. When this power becomes part of you, even dead things enters your hands and come back to life. There is a power that when it becomes visible in your life you become a natural treat to the kingdom of darkness. That power is the resurrection power.
Today, I see you attaining that power. I see you possessing that power. That same power that raise Jesus from the dead is at work in you, you will never experience death again in your life, family, business, marriage and all that concerns you. Life in abundance.
Declaration
I declare, today I am a possessor of the same power that raise Jesus from the dead. I carry the power in my inside. Anything I touch, life comes into them. I attain the resurrection power in the name of Jesus. My day is blessed.
