Scripture: Philippians 3:10
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering, being made Conformable unto his death.
Today we continue on our discussion on the resurrection power. Yesterday we emphasized on attaining the power and possessing the power. It is good to experience the resurrection power, but much more benefiting to possess it. Today, we want to speak on one of the secret to attaining resurrection power.
Paul shared with us his road map to attaining this power. He began by saying, “that I may know him.” The secret is knowing Him. Today when people speak of this power they do no longer associate it to this mystery of knowing Him. The greatest mystery of this power is knowing God. Until God is revealed in you by understanding, you won’t manifest His power.
Jeremiah 9:23-24: this saith the Lord, let not the wise man, glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory is his might. And let not the rich man glory in his riches. 24; but let him that Glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord who exercise lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
The secret is knowing Him. “Let he who glorieth do so because he understands and knows me.” This means, true glory is not in might, nor wisdom, nor riches, but in knowing him. He said “this is my delight, that you know me.” When God is delighted he manifest. Knowing Him is the secret of not just experiencing this power but also possessing it. Paul knew this mystery and he desired not just the power first but His desires was that he may know God.
Today, seek to know Him and you will become a possessor of this power. I see that power resonate in you today and great miracles are happening in your life. It is a new day for you. Go for Him and the power will be the reward.
Declaration
I declare today, I receive strength to seek Him, that I may know Him and that the power of His resurrection becomes resident in me. My day is blessed.
