Scripture: Judges 6:14
And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might. And thou shall save Israel from the hand of the midianites, have I not sent thee?
Every man carries within him unseen powers that most of the times are never tapped into. Some people call this “within powers” potentials, other call it unused strength or untapped resource. But the most important is there is always a “within power” that is inside of us that is tapped as much as a little. You will be shocked how much God can do with you and through you. The scripture we read, is a story of a man who had a potential to save not just his family but the entire nation, but the irony was, he suffered the same fate as the people he was destined to save, until he had an encounter with the Angel of the Lord. This encounter was on a faithful day when he was running from their enemies. The Angel of the Lord accosted him that day, and called him “mighty man of valor”. In his amazement he wondered why will a weakling like him be called a might man of valor.
Beloved, your situation don’t defined you, it is your destiny that refines you. Always look beyond the trouble and look ahead to where you are going. The Angel of the Lord said in verse 14, Go in this thy might. There was no place in that chapter where it was said he gave him special power. This means that, even in the midst of the crises, he had this might within him. It’s not always our problem that reduces us, it’s our response to them. You carry greatness within you, you can’t afford to let today’s trouble determine your future. There is always more we can make happen no matter what we go through in life. How much you are beating does not change the fact that there is a giant within you.
Samson was reduce to mockery until he said Lord, I want to die with my enemies. Strength came and he brought a whole city down. If he had said otherwise he would have certainly live. Reach out to this within strength, your world is waiting for you!
Today, I encourage you to rise up from that pain, that poverty, that betrayer, that marital crises. Go in this thy might. I see major victory on all sides. Has he not said it, you will surely win.
Declaration
I declare! Today, the giant in me comes alive. I see mountains leveling before me. I carry greatness in my inside, I refuse to be small. What the Lord has declared about me shall manifest in my life! My day is blessed.
