Scripture: 2 Corinthians 7:1
“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleansed ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
This morning I want to speak to you as someone who carry great prophecy, praying and having faith for the manifestations of those prophesies this year, someone who hath received great promises, waiting for the manifestations.
Expectation is the the mother of manifestation. I am confident that whereever you are reading this from, you have great expectations you pray daily that they comes to pass this year. If you are that person then am talking to you this morning. My prayers for you is that it will not be another year of unfulfilled promises in your life. You will not see disappointment this year. God will turn all your delay into testimony this year.
But like every other year, many things stand between us and the manifestations of those prophecies you have received. Those powerful promises made to you. And one of those major hindrance is self and uncleanliness. Paul speaking to the church at Corinth said “having therefore these promises.” You can’t afford to let yourself loosed when you are carrying heavenly promises on your head. God can not say I will bless you this year and you expect to be blessed when you disconnect from Him. The branches can only bear fruits as long as they stay connected to the vine. The power will go off, when it’s unplugged from its source.
This year is too promising for you not to take God serious. Choose not to be distracted because it is your turn to celebrate. For these promises therefore beloved, let us cleansed ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. Whatever stands between you and the manifestations of your prophecies this year, treat them as an enemy. It is not only your uncle in the village that can stop you, not only that witch cousins of yours that can stop you. Sin is more active in keeping a man down than any powerful witch doctor. Treat sin, weakness of the flesh, weakness of the spirit. Treat them all as enemies. If you can raise warfare prayers against who you think is your problem, then it’s time to raise it against sin. Declare war on the flesh and break out of spiritual redundancy. Fight until you overcome. You can’t afford to have another year of unfulfilled promises. This year you must arrive at your celebration. I see you overcoming all obstacles including the flesh. It’s a new day for you. Congratulations.
Declaration
I declare, today I declare war on sin, thou power of the flesh limiting me, your time is up. I receive grace to overcome the flesh. Am above resistance this year. I inherit all that God has promise me this year. My day is blessed.
